Privacy Policy

NashvilleTN Concierge (“we,” “us”), operated by NashvilleTN, runs nashvilletnconcierge.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, email address and phone number when you build and send a trip plan, ask for help booking or request group rates. We also collect your email when you join the newsletter.
- Your trip details: your quiz answers (occasion, dates, group size, interests, budget, where you're staying, notes) and the plan you built.
- Collected automatically: pages visited, links clicked, device and browser type, the page that referred you, campaign tags in the link, and your approximate city or region based on your IP address. We keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address to stop spam and abuse, not your actual IP address.
- Stored on your device: the site uses your browser's local storage to remember your quiz answers, whether you've already subscribed or dismissed the signup box, and how you arrived. Google Analytics sets cookies to measure visits.
How we use it
- To build your plan, email it to you and, if you ask, have a local concierge contact you to help book it.
- To send the NashvilleTN Insider newsletter if you subscribe. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how the site is used, improve it, and report totals (never your personal details) to partners whose listings appear on the site.
- To prevent spam, fraud and abuse, and to meet legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that run the site for us under contract: Netlify (hosting, forms and data storage), Google Analytics (site measurement), Beehiiv (newsletter) and our email delivery provider. We do not pass your contact details to venues or partners unless you ask us to help you book with them. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.
Some links to hotels, tours and restaurants are affiliate links. When you click one, that site may set its own cookies and its own privacy policy applies.
Cookies and analytics
Google Analytics uses cookies to count visits and see which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works without them.
How long we keep it
We keep trip requests and contact details for as long as we need them to help you and run the business, generally up to 24 months after your last contact with us. After that we delete them or strip anything that identifies you. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email service@nashvilletnconcierge.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We'll confirm your request comes from you and reply within 45 days. Depending on where you live (for example California, Tennessee or another state with a privacy law), you may have more rights, including the right to appeal a decision we make about your request. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our systems, and limits on what we collect and keep. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Children
This site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. If the changes are significant, we will put a notice on the site.
